Since I was asked this question a few days ago and it is clear that not everything is clear, here is a reminder of what I am offering and how you can use it in your projects, for your personal and professional activities, and of course for your entertainment with video games.
In any case, I ask that you respect my work and that of any contributors. Fair use must apply to any free and/or open source project, even if it is not represented in your local legislation.
For example, if you compile a program from the source code, it is for your personal use, and under no circumstances should you redistribute it and compete with the official version when it is available.
Regarding source code on GitHub
My code repositories are licensed under AGPLv3.
Using them in your projects may in some cases involve redistributing your source code under the same license or a compatible license.
If you modify parts of my source code incorporated into your projects, you must share them under the AGPLv3 license or a compatible license. Ideally, submit your modifications to the original code repository as a Pull Request so that everyone can benefit from them.
Exception: If you use my projects solely as submodules of your own or as imported dependencies (without copying or redistributing my files), you may continue to use them without changing the license of your source code. However, if you make them publicly available, users of your projects must comply with the original licenses.
If you do not want to be bound by the AGPLv3 license, you can also purchase standard developer licenses from me (lifetime licenses, “nominative” licenses attached to an email address and non-transferable). These are available exclusively from this online store or on request for special cases.
Regarding video games (compiled versions)
I provide compiled versions of my video games. These versions are available for download from the Apple, Google, and Microsoft (or this link) app stores, Itch.io, or each game's website.
My video games are distributed as shareware, free of charge or for sale, depending on the site and platform.
In any case, if you want to support my activities, you can make a donation or purchase valid licenses for the desktop versions (Windows, Mac, Linux) distributed as shareware from my online store.
About utilities (compiled versions)
In the utilities section, I include everything I offer with an installer that is not a video game, whether it is intended for developers, individuals, or business users.
The compiled versions of my software are available from their code repository, the software websites, or certain online stores.
They are all distributed as shareware.
You can use and redistribute them freely as long as you do not alter the content of the files provided and do not sell them. The results of your use can be used for personal or commercial purposes.
For example, you can use Pic Mob Generator to create icons as a service or digital product, but you are not allowed to sell the Pic Mob Generator software, even if you have the right to distribute (free of charge) the Pic Mob Generator installer without modifying it.
License keys can only be purchased from my online store or one of the sites listed on this page.
License keys for my utilities are valid for life and for all versions of the corresponding software. They are linked to an email address (which cannot be changed). They are non-transferable.
Individual or bulk purchases are also possible for resellers. Please contact me for details.
Regarding online or in-person training
Books, guides, emails, videos, project source codes, and in general any digital or physical content created for or during a training course remain my property. Under no circumstances may they be redistributed outside of the persons (trainees) who have taken the training course in question or the person who commissioned it.
I may use or supplement public or private code repositories during training courses. In this case, the license associated with the repository applies.
During corporate training courses conducted under Datadock or Qualiopi, this content may be transmitted to the training organization, the funding organization, or auditors responsible for monitoring the proper conduct of the training.
Streaming, videos, blogs, and other content
In general, everything I offer online is protected by international copyright laws. You may not claim it as your own, resell it, redistribute it, or alter it without prior written consent.
Videos (live or on demand), texts, and other content posted on my websites, sharing sites, or social networks are licensed under CC BY-NC-ND (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives).
Development, TMA, and support services
I may create code or modify existing code when providing technical support, research and development, assistance, training, or other services.
The work done on your projects remains your property.
The use of my libraries and components is possible and can be discussed on a case-by-case basis for a developer license transfer or to maintain the AGPLv3 license.
The use of software or sources from other developers must be done in accordance with their rights and licenses.
Other cases?
For everything else, if you have any questions, doubts, or wish to discuss a particular use, please contact me.
